Our Story

Orosi Dermotermal was born from a father-daughter vision to reshape skincare through the power of Costa Rica’s thermal waters, modern biotechnology, and ethical formulation.

With a background in industrial engineering and entrepreneurship, Edgar recognized the potential of Costa Rica’s geothermal treasures. Meanwhile, Paulina, a UC Berkeley-trained bioengineer specializing in synthetic and computational biology, brought expertise in clean formulation and biomanufacturing.

Together, they envisioned a skincare line that would not only nourish skin but also honor nature and redefine sustainability. Inspired by the biodiversity of their homeland and driven by transparency, they created a line that merges science and purity—without compromise.

Today, Orosi Dermotermal stands as a reflection of that commitment: clean, mineral-powered skincare backed by biotechnology and crafted with care for the planet.
